Arsenal and Tottenham are just two of many Premier League clubs who will be on red alert throughout June as the European U21 Championship gets underway.

The likes of Liverpool No.19 Harvey Elliott – who could leave Anfield this summer – James McAtee, Ethan Nwaneri and Archie Gray will all be present in Slovakia, as England look to defend their crown.

Aside from the talented English players, there are gems littered throughout the competition, with many nations able to boast a potential star of the future in their ranks.

Graeme Bailey – Chief Correspondent at TBR Football – can now reveal which European U21 Championship prodigies are set to be monitored by Premier League clubs throughout the tournament.

Jorrel Hato

Jorrel Hato is arguably the most exciting talent at the European U21 Championship.

The teenager has already racked up 111 appearances for Ajax, even captaining the Eredivisie giants at the age of 17.

TBR Football understand Arsenal are very keen on signing Hato, while Chelsea are long-term admirers of the Dutchman, and Liverpool are also fans of the central defender.

Ruben van Bommel

The son of Mark van Bommel will be representing the Netherlands in Slovakia.

We understand Brighton have previously expressed an interest in signing the 20-year-old winger, with other Premier League clubs set to scout him this month.

Rav van den Berg

Rav van den Berg is hugely admired by Brentford, but a move to the Bundesliga seems likelier to materialise for the Middlesbrough No.3 this summer.

Ezechiel Banzuzi

West Ham failed to sign Ezechiel Banzuzi during the January transfer window, and the Dutchman has since joined RB Leipzig.

However, we understand Leeds are keen, so a potential loan move to Elland Road cannot be ruled out.

Cristhian Mosquera

Cristhian Mosquera finds himself being tracked by a host of Premier League clubs, such as Liverpool, Aston Villa and Bournemouth.

However, be sure to keep an eye on his Valencia teammate Cesar Tarrega, another talented central defender.

Nathan Zeze

We understand Liverpool have scouted Nathan Zeze since October, and remain keen on the Frenchman.

Bournemouth are another Premier League side who have watched the teenager closely.

Castello Lukeba

Like Hato, Castello Lukeba is already an established talent in Europe.

Arsenal and Chelsea are huge admirers of the Frenchman, who could leave RB Leipzig in a lucrative transfer this summer.

Liverpool have also scouted Lukeba – according to sources.

Kiliann Sildillia

Kiliann Sildillia is understood to be on the radar of Manchester City after impressing with Freiburg.

Ismael Doukoure

Chelsea are keen to sign the 21-year-old from sister club Strasbourg in 2026, but the Frenchman may choose not to go to west London.

We understand Newcastle are also fans of Ismael Doukoure and will track the versatile prospect in Slovakia.

Noah Edjouma

A range of Premier League outfits admire the Toulouse wonderkid, but a move from Tottenham cannot be ruled out this summer.

Diego Coppola

Brighton are working hard to get a deal for the defender wrapped up, although Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham also like the Italian prodigy.

Cher Ndour

The former PSG gem is set to star for Italy in Slovakia, having previously been on the radar of Manchester United, Manchester City and Newcastle, who could still cast an eye during the tournament.

Niccolo Pisilli

Tottenham are understood to have done groundwork on a deal for the Roma wonderkid, who is showing great promise in central midfield.

Nathaniel Brown

The German youngster played against Tottenham in the UEFA Europa League quarter-final last season, and is a talented full-back.

Spurs are fans, with Leeds and Brighton also keeping tabs.

Caspar Jander

Tottenham, Brentford and Wolves all scouted the German during the 2024/25 campaign, and can be expected to cast an eye on the midfielder in Slovakia.

Roger Fernandes

Almost half of the Premier League are believed to have watched the 19-year-old.

Manchester United considered Roger Fernandes for their right wing-back role under Ruben Amorim, while Wolves have contemplated a move too.

Noah Nartey

Wolves have been following the development of Noah Nartey, and will be keen to see how he performs for Denmark at the European U21 Championship.

Clement Bischoff

Brighton once came close to signing the incredibly versatile Clement Bischoff, who typically plays down the left flank, but can also operate in a central attacking midfield role, on the right flank, or even as a striker.

Wolves are also showing interest.

Bailey describes Vladyslav Vanat as “arguably the most fascinating player” at the European U21 Championship.

The Ukrainian striker could end up being the breakout star of the tournament, with Manchester United, Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea, Aston Villa, Newcastle and Nottingham Forest all previously scouting him.

Leeds are also admirers, and the 23-year-old could earn a big move to England if he impresses in Slovakia.

Arseniy Batagov

Brentford are understood to have looked at Arseniy Batagov, as have Crystal Palace, Fulham and Brighton.
