Everton’s £30m target Nicolas Pepe performing better than Neymar this season

Everton are currently being linked with a move for Lille winger Nicolas Pepe. The Toffees, along with a host of clubs, are believed to be keen on the talented attacker.

Indeed, Everton sent chief scout Martyn Glover to check out the attacker recently. The game in question was against Amiens and Pepe scored a hat-trick.

So it is no surprise that Everton are keen on the player valued at

His record this season has been outstanding. The Ivory Coast wide-man has scored five and assisted five goals in his eight games so far this season.

Such figures alone should have Everton fans convinced he is worth a punt.

However, how about saying he is better than Neymar for the clincher?

Of course, Pepe has a long time to go before he can actually be classified as better than Neymar. In fact, it is unlikely he will ever achieve such a feat.

But at just 23-years-old he seems to have the world at his feet. Everton are right to be monitoring his situation.
