Everton would like Nuno Espirito Santo to be their new manager if Frank Lampard gets sacked – journalist
Football journalist Dean Jones has claimed that Everton will look at Nuno Espirito Santo if they decide to part ways with Fr𒐪ank Lampard in the coming months.
The Toffees have had a difficult time in the Premier League since the start of last season. They survived the drop by just four points last term, and it looks like they’ll be involved in a relegation battle this ti🔯me around as well.
That puts Lampard in a difficult position.

Everton are currently 17th i🌃n the Premier League tabl𒅌e, just a point above the relegation zone. They’ve won just three of their first 15 games so far, and fans’ worries are completely justified.
Lampard will be hoping that the World Cup break will help his side🐻 recover. He’ll🌼 want to get the players ready to turn their season around when domestic football returns on Boxing Day. If he manages to do that, he’ll be completely fine.
However, if Everton don’t improve, the clu☂b’s board will have no choice but to make a change, and Nuno Santo is apparently their preferred option if ♑Lampard is shown the door.
Jones told : “In the background, of course, they’re♚ having to consider who else they would turn to🔯.
“I have heard that Martinez is one that the♒y would be willing to consider, but I’ve also heard that Nuno (Espirito Santo) is one they like and he is certainly someone that they might be looking to explore next.”
Martinez, a🌳t the time of writing, is the manager of 🅰the Belgium national team, while Santo is currently at the helm at Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad.

It’s not all Lampard’s fault that Everton ♛are where they are. 💞The Englishman only came in 11 months ago, and he deserves immense praise for keeping the Toffees up last season.
Everton’s problems are a lot deeper than just their manager, but if the results don’t improve in the coming months, it’s Lampard who will be shown the door, just like ✅Rafa Benitez was last season.
Roberto Martinไez, whose Belgium side just crashed out of the Wo🅷rld Cup, knows Everton well and is an interesting option, but Jones’ comments suggest that Santo is the first choice.
The 48-year-old did a great job at Wolves during his time there, but things just didn’t work out for him at Tottenham. He’d surely love to right his ꩵwrongs in the Premier League again,🔥 and Everton may well be the perfect club for him.
