Everton would finally be replacing Lukaku with Immobile signing
Everton could be set for a massive summer boost with this weekend linking the Toffees with a move for Lazio striker, Ciro Immobile.
The Italian striker has been one of the most lethal finishers on the continent in recent years. Following a prolific spell with Lazio over the last few seasons, Immobile is widely recognised as one of the game’s top finishers.

Immobile moved back to Italy after a difficult spell with Dortmund. But since those struggles, the goals have flowed in abundance.
It would, then, be a massive boost for Everton if they could land Immobile. Furthermore, it could bring a striker to the club capable of scoring the goals not seen since Romelu Lukaku was in town.
Lukaku was lethal for the Toffees. He scored 25 goals the season before leaving or Manchester United. In comparison, since the Belgian’s departure, Everton have struggled for a regular goalscorer.

Wayne Rooney top-scored with just ten the season after Lukaku left. Then, last year, Richarlison managed 13, although actual striker, Dom Calvert-Lewin, only managed six.
Clearly, Calvert-Lewin has improved this season with 13 goals already. However, adding someone who is proven like Immobile would give the Toffees even more attacking impetus.
Just the type of striker needed at Everton
We mentioned the goals of Lukaku previously and it goes without saying that Everton haven’t replaced them.
In Ciro Immobile, they’d be getting a striker who knows exactly where the net is. He’s only failed to score in eight Serie A games all season out of 26 appearances.
one hat-trick. In fact, between September and January, Immobile scored in nine consecutive league games for Lazio.
If Everton are serious about this one, then it would be quite the signing. Bringing in Ciro Immobile should, in theory, be one of the best signings Carlo Ancelotti can possibly make.
