Everton transfer: Toffees reportedly trying to convince Euro 2020 star over Goodison Park move
Everton are stepping up their attempts to snare Denzel Dumfries after Inter Milan turned their attentions elsewhere,
The PSV defender has seen his stock rise since Euro 2020. He scored two goals and played in all four of Holland’s games at the tournament.
The right-back is now a wanted man and it seems highly likely that he will be on the move during the summer transfer window.

Dumfries has been with the Eredivisie outfit since the summer of 2018 when he checked in from Heerenveen. He has made 124 appearances for the club, scoring 16 goals and claiming 20 assists.
Last season he registered nine assists in all competitions which proved more than James Rodriguez (8) and Lucas Digne (7).
Now, Everton are trying to convince him that Goodison Park is the right step for him to take next in his career.
Marcel Brands is a big fan of the defender and is desperately keen to take him to Everton and make him part of Rafa Benitez’s squad.
The Spaniard has approved the signing, although the player’s agent, Mino Raiola wants to take his client to a Champions League club.
It is thought that Dumfries can leave for £17 million and his modest current wages make him an attractive signing.
Star in the making: Everton must pull out the stops for Dumfries
Now that Everton appears to have a free run at signing the Holland right-back, the Toffees simply have to act.
Seamus Coleman is in possession of the place in the team at the moment but he is now into his thirties.

With that in mind, Everton have to start looking to the future and Dumfries looks like the perfect addition to the ranks.
Benitez has agreed to the deal and now Brands must work his magic to get the deal over the line.
