Report: Tottenham to net £40m from deadline day deal as another midfielder nears exit door
Tottenham Hotspur are one of the busiest clubs on this 2022 deadline day and it’s as much about outgoings as it is about incomings for their transfer chief, Fabio Paratici.
The club has already announced players like Lo Celso, Ndombele, and Gil will spend the rest of the season away from the club. On the incomings side, Dejan Kulusevski has signed and Rodrigo Bentancur is close to arriving.
However, one man whose future has been up in the air all winter is Dele Alli. The midfielder has been out of the picture under Antonio Conte and reports are now claiming a move to Everton is imminent. And according to , the deal for Alli could bring Tottenham a whopping £40m into the transfer kitty.
Sky claim a deal is now close for Alli to leave London for Merseyside. He will be a big signing for Frank Lampard, who’ll be hoping to get the former England man back to his very best.

This is a brilliant signing for Everton but if that £40m figure is right, then for Tottenham, it’s also a massive deal.
Dele Alli has simply fallen by the wayside a bit in North London and the time is right for everyone to move on. Everton are a huge club, and this could be the restart the former MK Dons man needs.
