Everton the side most likely to sign Che Adams – Romano
Fabrizio Romano that Everton are the side most likely to sign Che Adams, with the Toffees really keen to land the Southampton striker.
Adams is a surprise contender to leave the Saints in the final stages of the transfer window. He has been an excellent performer for Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side over the last couple of years.

But Southampton are open to selling the Scotland international for around £15 million. And with that, a host of Premier League rivals are keen.
Leeds, Wolves and Nottingham Forest are all admirers of the 26-year-old. However, Everton also want to sign the former Birmingham City star.

Reports last week claimed that the Toffees had made an approach for Adams. Frank Lampard’s side want to take the forward on loan with an option to buy.
It is hard to see Southampton accepting such a deal. But Romano does see Adams ending up at Goodison Park in this window.
“For Che Adams, I think the most likely destination is Everton, they are really interested,” he told .
Everton most likely to sign Adams
Everton cannot let this window shut without signing a new striker. They failed to score against Chelsea. And it was a Lucas Digne own goal that handed them a lifeline at Aston Villa.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin is currently dealing with injury. And Richarlison was sold earlier in the window. So it looks to be imperative that they sign someone who can lead the line.
Adams would be a very shrewd signing if a deal can be agreed. He works incredibly hard. And he does have the ability to find the back of the net. He will also not cost a huge sum.
Adams’ performance have been labelled ‘‘ in the past. So if the Saints are open to a deal, Everton would be wise to capitalise.
