Everton signing Allan represents bargain, Napoli once rejected £80m bid for midfielder
Everton are keen on landing Napoli midfielder, Allan, with reports this week from claiming the Italians will not stand in the player’s way.
It is that Napoli will sell Allan for £35m, as long as the Toffees take Hirving Lozano off their hands at the same time.

That deal could well appeal to the club. Furthermore, it may appeal to Carlo Ancelotti, who enjoyed a fruitful relationship with Allan during their time together in Italy.
And the Toffees would be getting quite the player if they do land Allan. The 29-year-old has been instrumental for the Naples outfit since moving from Udinese.
The Brazilian has helped drive the club back into Champions League football. Indeed, according to , he’s averaged a rating of over seven in three of the last four seasons. While that stat can be taken in different ways, it does highlight a consistency in Allan’s game.
£35m a bargain for a player Napoli rejected £80m for
When you talk about top quality midfield players, Allan is right up there in Europe. Not many have shown the consistent levels of performance like the Brazilian has.
If Everton can land him for around £35m, you’d have to say they are getting themselves a bargain.

This is a player who was valued at more than double that just last year. Indeed, claims that PSG saw an £80m bid rejected by Napoli just 12 months or so ago.
While eyebrows would be raised if Everton paid that sort of money, it shows how highly Allan is thought of by the giants of the European game.
Everton have been building nicely under Carlo Ancelotti. Therefore, adding a player he knows well who has such obvious quality, seems a no-brainer.
