Everton signature of Aaron Wan-Bissaka would be bitter blow for Jonjoe Kenny
Everton are being linked with a move for Crystal Palace’s exciting right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.that Everton are hopeful of signing the talented defender in the summer.
The report suggests they have identified him as a long-term alternative to Seamus Coleman after his excellent start to the season at Selhurst Park.
There is no doubt that he is a top talent and the sort of the player that Everton fans want to see targeted by the club.
However, it will not be music to the ears for one of Everton’s young stars.

Jonjoe Kenny helped England under-20s win the World Cup last summer and has been a regular for Everton’s youth teams throughout the years. His brilliant crossing ability and tenacious style certainly helped him win over fans last season, when injury problems saw him drafted into the first-team.
However, if Wan-Bissaka was to arrive, then it is hard to see Kenny sticking around at Everton for long.
Wan-Bissaka coming in would see Everton paying big for a younger talent than Kenny which would see him slip down the pecking order.
Whilst Kenny may have signed a deal until 2022 at the end of last year, the arrival of such a clear direct rival would undoubtedly put his future at Goodison Park in doubt.
