Everton should place James Forrest on their radar

Everton manager Marco Silva should be looking to add some extra quality to his attacking department and Celtic wide man James Forrest would be an excellent target to consider.

, Liverpool have been tracking the Celtic ace for several months and he’s a potential summer target to bring to Anfield.

It is understood that the Scottish giants would demand at least £8million to offload one of their key players.

With Liverpool believed to be waiting around until the summer for the 27-year-old, Everton should jump in to try hijack interest and take him to Goodison Park.

Forrest is a huge talent that has improved massively under Brendan Rodgers at Celtic and would be a bargain at anything below the £10million mark.

The right-winger has scored 11 goals in 34 games this season in all competitions and has European experience.

He’s also been an assist king by directly setting up 17 goals and is a major influence in the final third.

Everton are crying out for a new winger to push Theo Walcott out of the starting XI and Celtic’s dazzling attacker certainly has the potential.

Forrest is a fleet-footed attacker that has express pace and is a great dribbler, which is why he could add a much-needed extra goal threat to Silva’s team.

The Scotland international is approaching the peak years of his career and his chances of regular first-team football would surely be greater at Everton than at Merseyside rivals Liverpool, with the likes of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane starting in their wide positions.
