Approximately one year ago Everton were being linked with a potential summer move for Andre Silva. with his agent Jorge Mendes eager to facilitate a Premier League move.
It came after he struggled to find any form at AC Milan, who had spent the vast sum to sign him from Porto.
Everton were seen as a potential destination for the summer, however, he headed to Sevilla instead.

He started life with the La Liga side with a bang, scoring seven goals in his first eight games at the Sanchez Pizjuan. However, he has scored just four more in his following 25 games for the Spanish club.
His future certainly appears to be in the air, with Sevilla likely to want to keep him but Milan surely intrigued by his streaky season.
Everton, however, should not be afraid to get involved. The club clearly needs another striking option and Silva fits the age profile that his countryman Marco Silva wants to work with at Goodison Park.
Bringing the 11-goal star to England could be the solution to Everton’s attacking woes.
