Everton have a number of talented youngsters on the books at Goodison Park and Kieran Dowell is one of the top upcoming stars.
The 21-year-old attacker remained with the Toffees over the summer after impressing out on loan in the Championship with Nottingham Forest last season.
He made 43 appearances across all competitions at the City Ground, scoring 10 goals and supplying five assists in return.
The England Under-21 international usually plays in the number 10 role behind the centre-forward or in a wide area, which is why he’s struggling to break into the Everton first team due to the stiff competition.
But Dowell is far too good to be on the fringes of the senior squad and restricted to the Under-23s side, which is why manager Marco Silva has to sanction another loan spell away in the January transfer window.

Dowell is a technically gifted ace that doesn’t look a million miles away from the level needed for the first team and perhaps another successful loan stint could push him closer for next season.
The creative playmaker has played just twice in the Everton first team this campaign and the Merseyside club need to try oversee his development the best they can.
There would surely be a queue of clubs for his signature if he came available for a temporary deal in the New Year and it’s something Silva should explore.
