Everton are said to be tracking the situation regarding Danny Welbeck at Arsenal. that the England international has not managed to make progress regarding a new deal at Arsenal. His current deal at The Emirates runs out in the summer.

Everton are said to be keeping tabs on the player ahead of a potential move in the summer. The 27-year-old was linked with Everton in the summer but no deal ever came to be.

Welbeck’s time at Arsenal has largely been disrupted by injury problems.

Usmanov rubbished

Alisher Usmanov’s recent comments about helping Everton financially have been , as reported by the Liverpool Echo. The presenter, who is close to Everton’s former chairman Bill Kenwright, stated that the Russian oligarch is more likely to invest in a club of his own in Italy, rather than help old friend Farhad Moshiri at Goodison Park.

Hopefully, these rumours can be put to bed.

Friendly time
