Everton round-up: Trio unwanted, Kean departs and Godfrey arrival close
Everton have made a flying start to their Premier League campaign but they might not be finished in the transfer market just yet.
The Toffees have enjoyed a stunning transfer window to this point with James Rodriguez proving the pick of the bunch for Carlo Ancelotti.
He checked in from Real Madrid and is already proving himself to be a Premier League revelation.
Here is a round-up of what’s currently going on at Goodison Park in the early stages of transfer deadline day.
Trio unwanted
a trio of players are unwanted at Goodison Park and efforts to offload them will be ramped up today.
Mo Besic, Yannick Bolasie and Sandro Ramirez all spent time out on loan last season and since reporting back to Merseyside have been training away from the first-team.

Besic has been linked with Rangers, with Steven Gerrard keen to take him to Ibrox.
The most likely destinations for Bolasie and Ramirez will come from overseas and it remains to be seen if any suitors will step forward.
Ramirez, in particular, has been a poor signing. He signed for £5.2 million in 2017 and scored just once in 16 appearances for the club.
Kean departs
One man who has already left Goodison Park is striker Moise Kean who has joined PSG on a season-long loan.
The youngster arrived from Juventus last summer, costing the Toffees £27.5 million

He failed to hold down a place in the team last season, starting just six times in the Premier League.
Kean managed four goals and two assists from his 37 appearances and he simply needs to play regular football.
The 20-year-old should get plenty of opportunities to play with the Champions League finalists and he’ll hope to return to Everton a better player next summer.
Godfrey edges closer
Ben Godfrey’s arrival from Norwich City is edging closer and an announcement could be imminent,
The 22-year-old will cost the Toffees £25 million and will provide cover for the injured Mason Holgate.

Godfrey made 30 appearances for Norwich last season and has actually featured three times for the Canaries during 2020/21 too.
He was left out of Daniel Farke’s team for Saturday’s defeat to Derby though with a switch to Everton nearing completion.
