Everton round-up: Silva on ‘solutions’, Pennington was wanted and Bolasie rejected

Silva wants ‘solutions’ not ‘excuses’

Marco Silva says Everton must now ‘find solutions’ and not ‘excuses’ after a dismal display against Wolves yesterday.

The Toffees lost 3-1 at Goodison Park in an insipid display that left fans furious. The fact the highlight of the game was a pitch invasion from a domestic moggy highlights the issue.

Silva said, that his players made it ‘too easy’ for wolves to win the game and that the team now has ‘an obligation’ to turn things around.
