Everton round-up: Tosun approach, Vlasic warning and Pickford deal
Tosun approach
Besiktas wanted Cenk Tosun back this summer, according to a report in Turkey. that the Turkish side held talks with Marcel Brands over a number of issues, including the availability of their former striker.
However, the Everton sporting director informed the Istanbul club that Tosun was a part of Everton’s plans for the new season.
Tosun has struggled for form this season and goals have been scarce frontman.

Vlasic warning
The father of Everton attacker Nikola Vlasic has hit out at Everton boss Marco Silva.
The Croatian was sent out on loan this summer to Russian side CSKA Moscow where he has been in good form.
Yoshko Vlasic stated that Silva had made a ‘big mistake’ letting his son go this summer.
Pickford deal
Everton fans are overjoyed as the club have tied down goalkeeper Jordan Pickford to a new deal.
His performances with England this summer saw him linked with several big clubs across Europe, including Bayern Munich.
However, Everton have now tied him down to a six-year deal at Goodison Park.
