Everton reportedly targeting left-footed wingers, explaining David Neres and Malcom links

Everton’s plans for the remainder of the transfer market have been detailed

The Toffees have so far been reasonably quiet in the market. Andre Gomes arrived permanently after his loan spell from Barcelona. Other then that, Everton have been working harder on getting players out of Goodison Park as opposed to in.

That was the case with Sandro Ramirez yesterday, who has joined Real Valladolid on loan until the end of the season. on the deal then detailed where Everton still want to improve.

Kurt Zouma remains a number one target at centre-back. The Frenchman had an excellent loan spell at Everton last season and Marco Silva would like him permanently.

However, claims his asking price and Frank Lampard’s arrival at Chelsea may prove a stumbling block.

It is also reported that Everton are seeking a left-footed midfielder in attack this summer.

Undoubtedly, this is an area where Everton need to improve. The club clearly lack balance on the wings. Richarlison, Theo Walcott, Ademola Lookman and Bernard are all naturally right-footed.

The news certainly explains several recent links to Everton. The likes of David Neres, Malcom and Cengiz Under are all left-footed wingers recently mentioned as potential Everton targets (as reported , , and respectively.)

Everton fans will hope a winger of that standard is brought in to the club this summer to plug this gap.
