Potter also won a Swedish Cup at the club, and embarked on a solid Europa League run.

“I hope they don’t do so well tomorrow night but I think Graham Potter is doing a very good job.

“He’s a talented young manager.

“My biggest advice to him would be keep your head down and get on with it because the job’s never easy and you never know when things can go against you.”

Everton would be landing a great manager in Potter – TBR View

Potter ticks a lot of boxes for Everton, or indeed any Premier League club in pursuit of the top places.

He is a young, progressive manager with a good football philosophy who makes the most of his resources and gets players and teams punching above their weight.

That Spurs have also reportedly looked at Potter shows he’s highly sought after and if Everton can land him, they’d be getting a truly great manager.
