Everton ‘offered’ Inter star, but the Toffees should enquire about his teammate
Everton have reportedly been offered the chance to sign Inter Milan star Joao Mario this summer.
the Toffees can sign the former West Ham United loanee for a cut-price fee of £15 million.
Mario has had an indifferent season at San Siro this term. He couldn’t get a look in at the start of the campaign and then he enjoyed a mini renaissance midway through.

Towards the end though, Luciano Spalletti has reduced his game time and it looks as though he has been deemed surplus to requirements for next season.
During his time at West Ham, Mario showed himself to be a decent player. Arguably though, Everton need to be showing more ambition, and they should instead ask Inter about the availability of midfielder Roberto Gagliardini.
TBR’s view
Gagliardini has made just 20 appearances for the club this term and is seemingly unfancied by Spalletti.
The Italian tactican prefers Matias Vecino in midfield, but a number of Nerazzurri fans have recently been clamouring for Gagliardini to replace the Uruguayan in the starting XI on social media.

The 6ft 3in star is a versatile player who can play a number of different roles in midfield.
He is arguably a step up from Mario in terms of quality, and could be a brilliant addition by Everton. He appears to lack trust from Spalletti and could be a feasible, inexpensive acquisition.
He could replace Idrissa Gueye or Andre Gomes if either left the club this summer, whereas Mario would only really serve to provide more competition for Gylfi Sigurdsson in attacking midfield.
