Everton news round-up: Robles finds club, Carvalho agent talks and Gelson targeted
Joel heads home
It looks as though Joel Robles has found himself a club and will be leaving Everton this summer. The Spaniard is out of contract at Goodison Park and has not had a look in since the signing of Jordan Pickford from Sunderland.
The 27-year-old followed Roberto Martinez in heading to Everton from Wigan Athletic in 2013. He went on to become a very useful member of the Everton squad over the next few years but has decided to move on.
he is on his way to La Liga side Getafe, ending his stay in England. He will replace Vicente Guaita, who is joining Crystal Palace on a free transfer this summer.
Everton currently have injury-prone Maarten Stekelenburg as back-up to Pickford, so it will be interesting to see if the club decides to bring in a new face to the goalkeeping department.

William contact
Everton look to be stepping up their pursuit of William Carvalho. According in Portugal the player’s agent is now in contact with Everton director of football Marcel Brands over a potential move to Goodison Park.
It seems the clubs will soon have to agree on a fee, with William believed to be keen on finally making a move to the Premier League this summer.
The Euro 2016 winner will be looking to tie up a deal before he heads to the World Cup with Portugal this summer.
Gelson wanted
also suggests that Everton are keen on signing Gelson Martins from Sporting Lisbon. The 23-year-old talent had a great season with the Lions, scoring 13 and assisting 13 goals in 52 games.
Everton are now believed to be keen on the player, as they look to improve their wide options.
Martins has been linked with a host of other clubs in Europe. His release clause at Sporting stands at an imposing £52.7 million,
Such a fee will make it hard to get hold of the player, but it is certainly a name to keep an eye out for over the summer.
