Everton loanee Kieran Dowell is making the most his loan spell

Everton sent Kieran Dowell out on loan in January to Sheffield United for the rest of the season and he’s really impressed during his short time with them so far.

The 21-year-old linked up with the Blades, who are third in the Championship table and pushing for automatic promotion this campaign.

He previously proved his qualities in England’s second-tier with Nottingham Forest and is once again lighting up the division.

Dowell is an attacking midfielder by trade that usually plays in the number 10 role and has settled quickly into Chris Wilder’s team.

The left-footed ace is a quick dribbler with an eye for goal and appears to be enjoying featuring for an attack-minded team in the Championship.

Dowell also proved his versatility by slotting in excellently as a left wing-back on Wednesday night to hep Sheffield United beat Middlesbrough .

He showed excellent maturity to adapt to the wide role and it could be something that is explored again due to his display.

Everton have been well aware of the English playmaker since he started rising through their youth ranks and he looks a class act in the Championship.

The Toffees are always keen to promote their youth talents and the way Dowell is going he should be right in Silva’s thinking for next year.

Dowell has made just five senior appearances for Everton, but there should be plenty more further down the line if he keeps progressing.
