According to , Everton are interested in Borussia Monchengladbach winger Thorgan Hazard, who has to his name already this season.

The Belgian wideman has been in fine form for the Bundesliga outfit so far in 2018-19 and that has clearly attracted interest from Marco Silva, as he continues to reshape his Toffees frontline.

There is no doubt that Richarlison was overpriced in the summer, but he has made an instant impact and fellow Brazilian Bernard is showing signs of life after his free arrival as well.

Young Lions Ademola Lookman and Dominic Calvert-Lewin can both add pace from wide areas and Gylfi Sigurdsson can also operate from the flanks.

So if Hazard did come in, perhaps Silva would have to move one of his current wide options on. That could be bad news for one man, who only joined the club in January under Sam Allardyce – Theo Walcott.

Walcott’s speed and ability to play across the front will appeal to Silva, but he has brought in his own men and has some younger players coming through below.

The arrival of Hazard, who is not likely to come cheap, could bring a swift end to Walcott’s Goodison career.
