Everton hold trump card over Manchester United in Adrien Rabiot race
Everton are once again interested in bringing in Adrien Rabiot, with the Toffees looking to beat Manchester United to his signature.
, Rabiot is keen to move away from Juventus this summer. And both Everton and United are keen on landing the Frenchman if they can.

The 25-year-old has struggled for Juve since moving to Turin from PSG. Despite being one of the most sought-after midfielders in Europe at the time of his move, Rabiot has struggled to land a regular place in the first XI.
That has led to a number of rumours regarding his future. Indeed, Everton were linked with a move for the midfielder in January.
And as the race for Rabiot hots up, Everton could well have the upper hand with Carlo Ancelotti as manager.
Ancelotti and Rabiot’s relationship could be key in sealing a deal
Back in Rabiot’s early days at PSG, it was indeed Carlo Ancelotti who gave him his debut. The Italian manager put full trust in the young Frenchman at the time.
Following that debut, Ancelotti continued to work with Rabiot, improving his play game by game.

Rabiot made just nine appearances () under Ancelotti but did enough in that time to ensure he would remain in the Italian’s thoughts down the line.
Surely, then time is now for Ancelotti to seek a reunion with the Juventus man.
It makes sense, too, in terms of a transfer that might work. Rabiot needs a fresh start and the chance to work under someone he trusts.
Everton, meanwhile, needs quality if they are to come close to bridging the gap to the top four. Adding Rabiot, then, would go a long way to making their midfield a force to be reckoned with.
