‘Farce’, ‘Shame’: Everton fans react as Henry Onyekuru signs for Monaco
Everton secured a battling point on the road in their opening Premier League game of the 2019/20 campaign, drawing 0-0 with Crystal Palace.
The Toffees have a lot of new signings to blend into their squad and it may be a few weeks before Marco Silva gets a settled side.
Transfer business might be over on the incoming side of things, but departures can still take place if they head to League One and Two, or to clubs in other European countries.

Everton announced last night that Henry Onyekuru has permanently departed the club, signing for Monaco for £12 million,
The Nigerian international signed a five-year deal with the club in 2017 but never made a single appearance for the Toffees.
He signed for £7 million from Belgian club KAS Eupen but struggled with work permit complications.
His permanent switch to Ligue 1 comes on the back of impressive loan spells with Anderlecht and Galatasaray.
During his time with the Turkish giants last season, he netted 16 goals for the club.

The 22-year-old might prove to be one that got away for Everton, but given the work permit issues, banking some money for the striker looks sensible.
A £5 million profit from a player who has never worn the famous blue shirt looks like quality business.
Following Onyekuru’s departure, here is a selection of tweets from Everton supporters:
