, Everton are one of the clubs interested in signing John Buckley from Blackburn Rovers.
Alongside Manchester United and Merseyside rivals Liverpool, Everton hold an interest in the Blackburn starlet.

The 19-year-old is highly rated by Blackburn and is already training with Tony Mowbray’s first-team squad, despite not yet making his debut.

Buckley’s current deal expires in summer 2020 and Rovers are expected to hand him a new contract extension, .
But Everton might choose to snap him up before that after keeping their tabs on him and judging him firsthand on Monday.
Buckley failed to inspire Blackburn to score against Everton on Monday, although he did have a shot saved by Mateusz Hewelt.
But whether Everton decide to firm up their interest will depend on his future appearances for Blackburn, as well as Monday night’s display.
