Everton fans react to Fabian Delph withdrawal from England squad
Fabian Delph has had to exit the England squad during the current international break through injury – and some Everton fans have reacted to the news on Twitter.
The Toffees have confirmed () that the 29-year-old has left Garth Southgate’s England squad and returned to Goodison Park for further rehabilitation on an injury.
He will miss European Championship qualifiers against Montenegro and Kosovo, but there has been no replacement called up to the Three Lions squad.
Delph was absent from Everton’s squad at the weekend during the 2-1 away victory against Southampton, as a hamstring problem kept him sidelined.
The central midfielder has been unable to prove his fitness for England and fans should hope he’s back fit after the international break.
Marco Silva’s side host Norwich City in the Premier League on 23 November and it’s unclear yet whether he will be available.

The left-footed enforcer has had some tough luck with injuries in recent years, but he’s turned out to be a good summer signing for the Merseyside club when available to play.
