Everton fans react on Twitter to Emre Can reports

A number of Everton fans have taken to Twitter to comment on that the Toffees want Juventus midfielder Emre Can this month.

It would perhaps not be a huge surprise to see Can on the move during the January transfer window. The Germany international has made just two Serie A starts this season.

And it appears that a return to Merseyside could be on the cards for the former Liverpool man. that Carlo Ancelotti is planning a £30 million bid for the midfielder.

It must be noted that Ancelotti has since distanced himself from reports linking Can with a move to Goodison Park (via ).

And it seems that Ancelotti’s response to the reports will please plenty of Everton fans on social media.

Many have suggested that they do not want the 26-year-old joining the club this month.

They do not believe that he would be a significant upgrade on what they already have – which is telling as plenty are clearly not happy with the club’s midfield.

Those who do not want to see a deal done certainly do not believe that he is worth £30 million.

However, there are some who have suggested that they would be happy to see Can join. They have insisted that Can is a quality player, or have claimed that they are happy to trust Ancelotti’s judgement if he is interested.

What is perhaps interesting is that the Liverpool connection seems to be the factor that bothers supporters the least whether they like Can or not.
