Everton fans react as Kurt Zouma posts Tweet following France goal

Kurt Zouma finished the campaign in strong form at Everton last season and continued that momentum by scoring in France’s 4-0 win over Andorra on Tuesday night – and Toffees fans have reacted to his Tweet.

The 24-year-old turned out 36 times for Everton on loan last season, keeping summer signing Yerry Mina out of the side despite the Colombian’s big-money move from Barcelona after a decent World Cup.

Kylian Mbappe, Wissam Ben-Yedder and Florian Thauvin all scored in the first half, before a corner was defended poorly and Zouma profited – tapping the ball home from inside the six-yard box.

Zouma posted on Twitter after the match, showing his delight on Twitter after finding the back of the net and helping his country pick up three Euro 2020 points. He also showed affection towards Manchester United ace Paul Pogba.

Back in March, Everton would have to spend £30million to land the former Saint-Etienne defender, who has played 71 times for the Chelsea since joining the club in January 2014.

Everton fans reacted to Zouma’s Tweet by urging him to return to Goodison Park this summer on a permanent basis, though there has been little talk of any kind of deal for the big French defender.
