Everton fans react as Duncan Ferguson will take charge for weekend game
Everton fans are relieved that Duncan Ferguson, not David Moyes, will be in charge this weekend.
Marco Silva was sacked last week with former striker and fan favourite Ferguson taking control on a caretaker basis. The Scotsman inspired Everton to a victory over Chelsea at Goodison Park to recapture some disillusioned fans.
Ferguson went sprinting down the touchline after Everton scored and twice lifted up a ballboy. He brought back some passion that was missing from this Everton team under Silva.
Everton fans prefer Ferguson to Moyes

Everton have been talking about bringing Moyes back as the next manager. While he did a good job at Everton, a lot of things have changed since then. Many fans feel this would be a backward step.
Ferguson does not have the managerial experience. But at least he brought a sense of ‘Everton’ back to the matches. He understands what it feels like and he clearly cares.
that Ferguson will remain in charge for the trip to Manchester United this weekend. Here are some tweets about this.
