Everton fans react as club linked with Inter Milan star Joao Mario
Everton could reportedly sign Inter Milan midfielder Joao Mario this summer after the Italian outfit are said to have offered the ex-West Ham United loanee to Marco Silva – and Toffees fans want him signed.
Inter want rid of the 26-year-old, who played under Marco Silva during the latter’s time as manager of Sporting Lisbon. In 2014-15, Mario played 45 times under Silva.
It is believed Mario – who has earned 43 caps for Portugal – will be available for a bargain £15million this summer. It is a fee that Everton can easily afford, given the amount they have spent in previous windows.

Mario has endured a frustrating season under Luciano Spalletti, managing just 22 appearances in all competitions. He started just 13 of those, and has looked some way off the pace.
He was a lot better during his loan at West Ham under David Moyes in the second half of the 2017-18 season, where he showed glimpses of class for the east Londoners. He even scored against Southampton and Leicester City.
Everton fans have reacted on Twitter to the news that their club could form a reunion between Silva and Mario, and many are all for the idea of the attacking midfielder moving to Merseyside this summer.
