Everton fans on Twitter split over interest in Diego Costa

Everton could reportedly be interested in signing Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter are divided over whether or not he would be a good signing.

The reports that Everton owner Farhad Moshiri has informed the Merseyside club to consider a move for him.

It is explained that the Toffees are keen on making a marquee signing this summer to improve their options at centre-forward .

Costa is reportedly likely to leave Spanish giants Atletico after their relationship broke down and he’s a contentious individual, who is renowned for his poor behaviour.

The striker scored just five goals in 21 games last season across all competitions, but his appearance record was poor because of injuries and suspension.

But the 30-year-old Spaniard has been prolific during his career with 174 goals in 437 senior club matches.

The clinical finisher previously lead the line at Stamford Bridge with Chelsea and won two Premier League titles, and showed he can be a wrecking ball in the Premier League.
