Everton fans impressed with Burnley star after win at Goodison Park on Monday
Everton reportedly considered signing Burnley star Dwight McNeil in the summer – and Toffees fans were impressed with his Monday night display.
McNeil, 21, is already an experienced Premier League player at this early stage in his career. On Monday, he clocked up his 100th top-tier outing.
However, the England Under-21 star failed to make the difference as a rampant Everton came from behind to win 3-1 against Sean Dyche’s side.
Ben Mee’s opener was cancelled out by Michael Keane, before Andros Townsend scored a superb effort from 25 yards. Demarai Gray also netted.
McNeil lasted the entire 90 minutes, but failed to add to his 23 goal involvements in all competitions for Burnley throughout the match.

McNeil to Everton: What are Toffees fans saying, amid swap reports?
Everton did bring in both Gray and Townsend and they are doing the business right now. Gray has three Premier League goals in four games.
Back in August, reports from the stated Everton were keen on McNeil. They were prepared to offer Burnley a player-plus-cash deal.
The report states Everton were ready to pay cash, along with right-back Jonjoe Kenny – who remains on the fringes at Goodison Park.
It is still to be seen if Everton want McNeil. But Everton fans were impressed with the winger, even if he did not score, or assist.
