Everton defender Jonjoe Kenny has tough fixture list to try cement position
Everton’s right-back position appears to be up for grabs at Goodison Park due to the mixed form of Seamus Coleman this season.
Manager Marco Silva has given academy graduate Jonjoe Kenny the chance to try nail down the spot and started him in the previous two fixtures.
The 21-year-old has done a moderate job so far and it will be intriguing to see if he’s given an extended run in the XI.
Coleman, 30, has massively regressed since his long-term injury and is yet to show any signs of getting back to his best.
Kenny should be eyeing up the club’s imminent fixtures and be hoping for more senior opportunities.

The Merseyside club travel to Cardiff City, Newcastle United and West Ham in their next three away games, where they will be expecting a decent points return.
But their next three home games are against top-six clubs Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal.
Kenny could find himself right back at square one if he finds himself tormented by quality wingers of the elite clubs in the division.
Liverpool’s Sadio Mane and Chelsea’s Eden Hazard are the types of players which can terrorise full-backs, which must be a big concern for the young Everton player trying to make a name for himself.
It looks like Silva is giving Kenny the chance to try establish himself, but he may be back on the fringes and down the pecking order if he is walked all over.
