Everton defender Ashley Williams comments on his future

that he does not know where his f🎃uture lies as he enters the final few months of his🅷 Everton contract.

The 34-year-old is 🏅out of contract with the Merseyside club, after signing a three-year deal with Everton in the summer of 2016 following his £12million move from Swansea City.

Willi✅ams was considered surplus to requirements by Marco Silva last summer. He was loaned to Championship side Stoke City, w🎐here he has managed 31 appearances in all competitions this season.

But he has been in and out of the side under Nathan Jones o🎶f late. Indeed, he has started as a substitute in Stoke’s last eight league games with January signing Danny Batth being preferred.

“There have been no conversations yet. I’ll sort to my own future at the end of the season. It💫 is like any other summer where you have to make decis🐷ions.

“I’m in a position now where I’m out of contract and I’ve been on loan at ⛦Stoke, we’ll haಌve to decide what I’m going to do. I’ll finish the season then see where we are at.”

TBR’s view

There is no chance that Williams is staying at Everton.𒊎 Everton are paying Wi▨lliams an enormous £70,000 a week. Having a player on such a wage is simply a waste of money.

The likes of Kurt Zoum𝔉a, Michael Keane, Yerry Mina and Phil Jagielka are above Williams in the pecking order. A Championship side is the likeliest port of call for the 83-time Wales internation𝓡al.

The ball is in Williams’ court, not Everton’s.
