Everton could sign ‘fantastic’ striker for just £6m in January, he’s scored eight goals this season

Everton are reportedly keeping tabs on Che Adams and Southampton are willing to sell the striker for just £6 million this month.

That’s according to talkSPORT, with the outlet claiming that the Saints striker is attracting interest from three Premier League clubs.

The Toffees have enjoyed a promising first half of the campaign under Sean Dyche, despite a 10-point deduction in November.

Dyche has Everton sitting just a point above the relegation zone but it’s important to note they’d be 12th without the deduction.

One area where they have struggled is in attack, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin yet to rediscover his scoring form.

Beto has also put in some encouraging displays but is yet to show he’s the man to step up and score regularly for Everton.

And a fresh report claims that Dyche’s men remain keen on signing Che Adams – a player they have long been linked with a move for.

Everton keen on Adams

reports that Everton, Wolves and Crystal Palace are all eyeing a possible move for Adams.

Southampton have slapped a £6 million asking price on the striker, with his contract set to expire this summer.

Adams has netted eight goals in all competitions for the Saints this term and is enjoying a decent run of form recently. The Scotsman has scored three goals in his last four games in the Championship.

He’s been lauded as a ‘’ player in the past and looks set to leave St Mary’s over the coming months.

But his goalscoring record in the Premier League leaves a lot to be desired, having netted just 25 times in 124 appearances in England’s top flight.

Of course, Everton will have to be smart with their transfer business due to their financial struggles. But we doubt that Adams would offer much more than Beto or Calvert-Lewin, especially when it comes to scoring goals.
