Everton: Chelsea-man in, Jagielka out; Deulofeu in Italy for medical; miss out on Sweden youngster
, Everton could be set to make a move for Chelsea’s Branislav Ivanovic as a potential replacement for long-serving Phil Jagielka – who is getting closer to re-uniting with David Moyes at Sunderland.
Since Chelsea’s switch to a 3-4-3 formation, Ivanovic has struggled to break into Antonio Conte’s side after the summer signings of David Luiz and Marcos Alonso, and it is believed that the 32-year-old is a target for Ronald Koeman.
The Serbian has only made one start since the season began in September, and despite being at Stamford Bridge for nearly a decade Conte is prepared to let him leave as he isn’t part of the Italian’s future plans.
Ivanovic has made 261 appearances for the Blues, scoring 22 times – with one of these a late winner as Chelsea secured their first ever Europa League triumph in 2013.

Gerard Deulofeu’s speculated move to AC Milan has been at the centre of controversy this past week after the Italian side announced the signing on Twitter – despite Everton denying a deal had been made – but the Spaniard is in Italy to complete a medical today.

The reported deal for Deulofeu will see the 22-year-old be on-loan until the end of the current season, with an option for a permanent deal if Milan wanted to keep him.
