Reports claim that Everton ask Chelsea to name their price for defender Kurt Zouma
Everton secured a massive three points on Sunday when they defeated Chelsea 2-0 at Goodison Park, courtesy of goals from Richarlison and Gylfi Sigurdsson.
The Toffees have not really had a great campaign under the stewardship of Marco Silva.
Everton are currently 11th in the Premier League and it’s a reasonable assessment to say that supporters expected more.

One omission from Silva’s squad on Sunday was that of Kurt Zouma, ineligible to face his parent club under terms of his loan agreement.
It would seem that Everton are keen to keep hold of the Frenchman on a more permanent basis.
According to (Print Edition, 21st March, page 51), the Toffees have asked the Blues to name their price for the in-form central defender.
The £40k-a-week defender has started 22 Premier League games this season and it is little surprise that Silva wants to keep the defender.
The Sun does state that Chelsea won’t be making a decision on Zouma’s future until they know will be the manager next season – with Maurizio Sarri under increasing pressure.
TBR Verdict
This news will be music to the ears of Everton supporters.

They will have been somewhat unsure of what quality Zouma possessed given that he was part of a Stoke City team that was relegated last season.
He has won them over though, becoming a focal point of Silva’s rearguard.
One situation that could hamper Everton securing a more permanent deal is the FIFA-imposed transfer ban.
Zouma is a proven Premier League performer and Chelsea might look to keep him around, particularly if they are unable to sign players themselves.
