Everton boosted in hunt for Napoli midfielder Allan, Gattuso admits players will leave
Everton have received a timely boost in their pursuit of Napoli midfielder, Allan, with the Italian club’s manager, Gennaro Gattuso, admitting that some of his players will leave this summer.
The former AC Milan star made the admission in an interview with , where he conceded that he is likely to be operating with only ’70-80%’ of his current squad next season.

That leaves the door open, then, for Everton to continue their pursuit of midfielder Allan, who earns around £105k-a-week in Naples.
Furthermore, it could see the likes of Milik and Koulibaly leave the club, with both players said to be interesting a host of clubs around Europe and in the Premier League.
Back in April, the Toffees to take Allan, as long as they took Hirving Lozano as well. A £35m fee was touted based on that deal, however, nothing has come of the Lozano talk since.

Napoli, though, are still likely to accept a deal not too far off that fee, in all honesty. Allan’s big wages, plus an apparent desire to leave, means it makes sense for the Serie A giants to cash in.

If ever there was a time to make a concrete move then that time is surely now.
Gattuso seems resigned to losing his top players. Allan is one of those top players and he’d make a fine addition to the Everton ranks.
PSG were previously said to bid rejected for the Brazilian. That is quite the fee, putting further proof if it was needed that Allan is indeed a top, top talent.
Everton need to move now and secure their man. It’s that simple.
