Arthur Melo’s struggles at Liverpool

It is a surprise that Everton are still interested in Arthur, especially given his struggles at Liverpool.

The 28-year-old midfielder joined Liverpool on loan from Juventus in the summer of 2022.

The Brazil international midfielder had injury issues during his time at Liverpool, and even when he was fit, he could not get into the team.

Arthur, linked with Newcastle United in the summer of 2024, played only 13 minutes during his time at Liverpool.

The Brazilian midfielder had a loan spell at Fiorentina last season where he scored two goals and gave three assists in 23 starts and 10 substitute appearances in Serie A.
