Everton and Crystal Palace both trying to sign rapid England Under-21 star

Everton and Crystal Palace are both still at risk of being relegated this season.

Despite the Toffees and the Eagles recovering well from poor starts to the 2024/25 Premier League campaign, the pair are still only on♎e and ꦅfive points above the relegation zone respectively.

Therefore, the January transfer window represents a chance for Sean Dyche and Oliver Glasner to bolster their respective sides – with Everton and Crystal Palace now keen to recruit Tom Fellows from West Brom.

Fellows has been a key man for the Baggies so far this season, scoring two goals while alsওo providing ten assists in 26 Championship൩ appearances to help West Brom sit sixth at the time of writing.

No player has assistꦯed more goals in the Championship this term than the speedꦗy England U21 international – who often embarrasses defenders with a quick stepover, drop of the shoulder and rapid turn of pace.

TBR Football understand West Broꦆm are eager to keep Fellows around for the benefit of whoever replaces Carlos Corberan – with an appointment expected to be made this week after the Spaniard left for Valencia.

Everton could have free run at Tom Fellows if Crystal Palace make Ben Doak progress

Interestingly, the so💖uth Londone✨rs have already made a move for another winger in the Championship who plays very similarly to Fellows – Ben Doak.

Crystal Palace bid £15m for Doak – who is on loan at ▨Middlesbrough from L﷽iverpool – an offer which was rejected by the Reds.

However, TBR Football understand the Eagles are not giving up on the Scotland international just yet, so if Dougie Freedman – Director of Football at Selhurst Park – manages to strike an agreement for his fellow countryman, it could leave Everton with a f𝓀ree run at signing Fell👍ows, on the assumption Crystal Palace would not sign both wingers this month.

Crystal Palace also like Romain Esse of Millwall – another fജorward who operates on the right flank – so those in SE25 seem to have a clear idea of the attacking profile they want thisꩵ Winter.

Freedman could also sign a central midfielder for Glasner – as TBR Football understand Crystal P𝕴alace are ready to bid £20m for Job🥀e Bellingham this month.
