European football expert now shares what Tottenham fans can expect from Radu Dragusin
European football expert Kevin Hatchard has shared what Tottenham Hotspur fans can expect from Radu Dragusin.
Spurs seem to have finally landed their top centre-back target after an eventful few days.
Tottenham had reached a ‘full agreement’ with Genoa to sign Dragusin on Tuesday morning before Bayern Munich attempted to hijack the deal.
Bayern chiefs were even confident about securing Dragusin, only for the 21-year-old to opt for a move to north London.

Spurs upped their offer for the defender overnight in an attempt to fend off Bayern’s hijack attempt and will pay £27 million, with Djed Spence going the other way on loan.
Dragusin will come in at Spurs as a bit of an unknown quantity given his fairly recent rise at Genoa.
But Euro football expert Kevin Hatchard has told Spurs fans to expect a defender who’s dominant in the air and strong in the tackle.
European football expert delivers verdict on Dragusin to Tottenham
Speaking to , Hatchard delivered his verdict on Dragusin’s proposed move to Tottenham.
“Radu Dragusin is seen as somebody who’s a rising star in Romanian football,” he said. “Just 21, lots of potential, was on the books of Juventus but didn’t quite make a consistent breakthrough there.
“That’s not a surprise given the quality of players they have but he did the right thing, he went away and played for some lesser lights. Learned his trade and since his move to Genoa, he’s been able to enhance his reputation.
“He’s a big guy, he’s 6’3 and he very much uses those gifts, he’s strong in the air, strong in the tackle, reads the game well and he’s from a sporting family.
“His mother was a basketball star, his father was a volleyball player.
“Bayern Munich were very interested in bringing him to Germany, that shows you the kind of respect that he has within football and he’s seen as somebody who could be the cornerstone of the Romanian defence for years to come.”

Dragusin has racked up 19 Serie A appearances so far this season, netting twice and registering one assist from centre-back.
At 21, he’s already earned 13 caps for Romania after making his debut back in March last year.
While many Spurs fans have likely yet to get a glimpse of Dragusin in action, Hatchard’s assessments should excite them.
The Romanian defender was also Postecoglou’s first choice and given his recent record in the transfer market, that should also offer them encouragement.
It will be intriguing to see if Dragusin makes the Spurs squad on Sunday as the north Londoner’s bid to wrap up a deal ahead of Friday’s deadline.
