ESPN pundit tears into ‘horrendous’ Chelsea player who’s ‘clearly not good enough’
ESPN pundit Craig Burley has criticised Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson following his performance against Wolves yesterday.
The Blues suffered yet another defeat in the Premier League this weekend. They are closer to Sheffield United at the bottom of the table than they are to leaders Arsenal, which is just terrible. Things need to change at Chelsea, and Burley thinks Jackson is not good enough.

Chelsea signed Nicolas Jackson from Villarreal in the summer for a🔯 fee of over £30 million ().
As they do with most of their new signings, the Blu⛦es gave 🦩him an eight-year contract, and he started the season as their main striker. Jackson has played 21 times in all competitions so far this season, and he has scored eight goals.
That isn’t a terrible return for a 22-year-old who’s in his first-ever season in England, but Chelsea fans expect a lot more from their main number nine, and he has come under a ton of criticism as a result.
After Chelsea suffered a 2-1 defeat to Wolves yesterday, Craig Burley had a go at Jackson, labelling him as ‘horrendous’ and ‘not good ওenough’ for the Blues.
He said on : “They are horrendous up front. Nico Jackson 🌄– somebody has to tell me what he does. I mean he played a little bit off Broja today, then they made some changes.
“He’s got eight yellow cards as a front-man, probably more tha🐎n he’s had s🔜trikes at goal.
“I mean it’s just horrendous, and it asks questions about the♛ recruitment again because he’s clearly not good enough to play as a headline striker in the Premier League.”

Chelsea’s recruitment since Todd Boehly took charge of the clಞub hasn’t been great, and the Blues are in a terrible position now as aꦿ result.
Mauricio Pochettino is trying to make things work, but his attack just isn’t firing. The Blues🐈 have missed more big chances in the Premier League than any🍒 other club this season.
A prolific striker in the January transfer window could change Chelsea’s fortunes in the second half oওf the campaign, but they need to get their recruitment right.
If they mess up, they will likely finish in the bottom half of thꦬe Premier League table, and Pochettino may well lose his job at Stamford Bridge.
