ESPN pundit says he thought 24-year-old Arsenal player was ‘amazing’ against Burnley
Don Hutchison has issued his verdict on the performance of Kai Havertz as Arsenal thrashed Burnley 5-0 at Turf Moor on Saturday.
Mikel Arteta’s men made another real statement following their 6-0 victory over West Ham earlier this month. They responded to Liverpool’s win at Brentford by dismantling Vincent Kompany’s men.
Kai Havertz was one of those who got on the scoresheet against Burnley. The 24-year-old scored his first league goal in two months in the second-half.
Kai Havertz was amazing for Arsenal in Burnley win
Mikel Arteta has been full of praise for Havertz lately. And some have suggested that Havertz has really begun to silence his critics with his recent displays.

And speaking on , Don Hutchison suggested that the former Chelsea man really stood out to him as Arsenal stormed to three points.
“Do you know, Kai Havertz, I thought was amazing at the weekend. I thought he played in a more advanced role, quite lopsided where he wasn’t quite a midfield player, not quite a false nine. He was terrific,” he said.
German playing his part as Gunners find top gear
Arsenal appear to have found their groove. And with that, you have to say that Havertz has played his part.
It does appear that some are never going to be completely convinced by Havertz. And Arsenal undoubtedly paid a huge sum to bring him to the Emirates considering that he was hardly outstanding at Chelsea.
But when you put the transfer fee to one side – which Havertz obviously had no say in – you have to say that Arteta does appear to have got some good performances out of him.
And with Leandro Trossard not exactly playing as a normal number nine, it seems to be working to have Havertz also not exactly playing as a number eight or 10.
