Erik ten Hag expects £150k-a-week Manchester United star to return v Liverpool
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag believes Luke Shaw will be back from injury to face Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday.
The Red Devils boss, speaking to the club’s , said the 28-year-old trained with the team on Friday and should be available against the Reds at Anfield.
Man United were sweating over Shaw’s fitne𓂃ss after he limped out of Tuesday’s Champions League defeat to Bayern Munich with a hamstring problem.
The England international didn’t come out for the♈ second half of the 1-0 loss, and made way for Aaron Wan-Bissaka, with Diogo Dalot switching flanks.
The issue came just two-and-a-half weeks after Shaw return♓ed fro꧅m a long-term lay-off with a thigh muscle injury.

Ten Hag, speaking ahead of the 🐼trip to Liverpool, spoke about the fitness of several players alongside Shaw✨.
While the £150,000-a-wee👍k () full-back should ♏be available, Harry Maguire – who also picked up a knock in midweek – has been ruled out for the match.
“Harry, he will not be available for the coming ಌgames, but we don’t think it is fo🎃r the long term,” began Ten Hag.
“Luke Shaw, he trained this morning. So we think he is av💝ailable for Sunday.”
Ten Hag also confirmed that Marcus Rashford will be back for ൩the Liverpool m꧋atch, while Anthony Martial remains on the sidelines.
Good news for Manchester United
Ahead of such a diffi𓃲cult fixture, it’s good to hear that Shaw should be available for Manchester United against Liverpool.
The R♛ed Devils have often looked much weaker whenever right-back Diogo Dalot♕ has had to play on the left, so it’s certainly a boost for the Old Trafford side.
Man United are currently in a poor run of form again, and a trip to the current Premier League leaders isn’t ideal. So they’ll need all the help the🐎y can get.
