Enzo Maresca sent a clear warning over why Chelsea signing Alejandro Garnacho from Man United would be a mistake

Enzo Maresca has been warned against Chelsea signing Alejandro Garnacho from Man United ahead of the January transfer deadline.

The Blues are looking to add yet more attackers to their squad with Maresca’s team struggling to get over the line🍸 in recent weeks due to a lack of goaꦏls.

Chelsea have been exploring a move for Garnacho with Mancheste꧒r U💜nited open to selling the Argentine international this month.

A deal for Garnacho would cost around £70 million with United se♋tting their asking price on the forward and the West London club keen🌜 on a potential transfer.

Chelsea don’t need more wingers and shouldn’t move for Alejandro Garnacho

Jeff Stelling has warned Chelsea that Alejandro Garnacho is ‘the last thing they need’ with the 🌳Blues already we🤡ll-stocked in wide areas.

With Pedo Neto, Noni Madueke and J🧔adon Sancho already at Stamford Bridge, the legendary former Sky Sports presenter has questioned their need for the 20-year-old.

Stelling told TalkSPORT: “There have been reports f✨rom Fabrizio Romano regarding Alejandro Garnacho maybe going to Chelsea. With Neto, Madueke and Sancho. Surely a Garnacho is the last thing they need.”

Meanwhile, ex-Chelsea p🍬layer Scott Minto responded: “How many more wide players do they want Chelsea? They’ve almost been stockpiling, obviously, we don’t know when Mykhailo Mudryk will be back and if he’ll ever be back, so maybe they’re looking at a possible replacement for that.

“But I would say they need r🌱einforcements elsewhere rather than more ꦬwide players.”

How does Alejandro Garnacho compare to Chelsea’s current wingers?

Garnacho has dropped out of Ruben Amorim’s team over recent weeks,꧟ however, the winger still has more minutes than Jadon Sancho and Pedro Neto, highlighting how competitive the wid🏅e areas already are for Chelsea.

Statistically, Garnacho wouldn’t o꧙ffer a significant on Madueke, Sancho and Neto, especially for the £70 millio💝n they would need to pay.

There is no doubt the 20-year-old has great potential but the Blues already have many great young winger and Estevao being add𒐪eꦿd in the summer.
