‘Energy’, ‘start him against West Ham’: Some Spurs fans wowed by 25-year-old’s efforts in training
Tottenham Hotspur are back in action this Sunday and, while many Spurs players remain on international duty, others are continuing to hone their skills at Hotspur Way.
One of those players is Carlos Vinicius, who joined Tottenham from Benfica at the start of October, ending their search for a striker to ease the burden on Harry Kane.
As per the Portuguese club’s , Vinicius joined on loan for a fee of £2.7m, though Tottenham have the option of making the deal permanent next summer for around £40m.
The Brazilian netted 24 times in 2019-20 and was the joint-top scorer in the Primeira Liga with 18 goals, though despite his efforts, remains uncapped by the Selecao as of yet.
As one of Tottenham’s non-internationals during the current break, he is being put through his paces at Spurs’ training ground, the club sharing a video of his efforts on Monday.
