Eintracht Frankfurt man makes comment about Tottenham and sends warning to Ange Postecoglou ahead of Europa League clash
Ange Postecoglou faces a potentially career-defining game with Tottenham on Thursday.
The Australian has already conceded during interviews that he is prepared to be sacked this summer with Spurs currently sitting 15th in the Premier League – although UEFA Europa League glory could save his job.
After a 1-1 draw in the first leg of the quarter-final last week in north London, Tottenham must attempt to overcome Eintracht Frankfurt to progress into the last four, which is not going to be easy.
The German side have lost just three games at home all season, winning 14 out of 21.

Now, ahead of the tie, Axel Hellmann – Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Eintracht Frankfurt – has sent a message to Ange Postecoglou and Tottenham.
Axel Hellmann issues rallying cry ahead of Eintracht Frankfurt vs Tottenham
The 53-year-old believes Tottenham will not be able to showcase their best outside of England, making a sweeping statement about all English clubs in European football, before telling supporters to create an intimidating atmosphere for Postecoglou to handle.

quote Hellmann as saying: “We have to force the challenges on Tottenham and show from the first minute that there’s nothing to be won against us in this stadium. The stadium will be on fire.
“Whenever English clubs leave the UK, they don’t bring the same quality to the pitch. We have to take advantage of that. We have to put pressure on this team, including from the stands. They have to be blazing when they have the ball. Every ball is celebrated. You have to be prepared for that, and that’s how we have to force the opponent to their knees.”
Spurs must watch out for Hugo Ekitike
Not only do Eintracht Frankfurt boast a tremendous home record, but they also have a talismanic figure up top in Hugo Ekitike – who almost joined Newcastle.

The Frenchman scored a fantastic goal to open the scoring in the first leg, and added another – his 21st of the season – during the win over Heidenheim on Sunday.
Ekitike has even become a target for Arsenal due to his excellent form in Germany – so Tottenham need to learn from the first leg and ensure they keep the Eintracht Frankfurt No.11 quiet this time around.
