Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli has given his verdict on the performance of Kai Havertz against Brighton and Hove Albion.

Edu has also praised the Germany international midfielder for his display at the Emirates Stadium.

Kai Havertz starting to flourish

I have noticed that Kai Havertz is now starting to flourish at Arsenal. I do not think that he is at his best yet, but the Germany international is showing some very promising signs.

Havertz is involved in matches and is scoring goals. He looks a very confident player. That Arteta trusts him and has faith in him is evident.

The 24-year-old has made 11 starts and six substitute appearances in the Premier League for Arsenal this season. He has scored four goals and given one assist in those games.

The former Chelsea player has also made five starts and one substitute appearance in the UEFA Champions League for the Gunners this campaign. Havertz has scored one goal in those games.

Arsenal are aiming to win the Premier League title and also go deep in the UEFA Champions League this season.
