Edson Alvarez posts three-word reaction to Kalvin Phillips display in West Ham win

Edson Alvarez has posted a three-word reaction on Instagram as Kalvin Phillips made his return to the West Ham United side in their victory over Everton on Saturday.

West Ham made it back to back wins in the Premier League for the first time since December, with both Tomas Soucek and Edson Alvarez scoring in stoppage-time for the visitors.

Kalvin Phillips came off the bench midway through the second-half. Of course, it has not been an൲ easy start to life at the London Stadium for the 28-year-old.

And Phillips did well enough as the Hammers secured an important thඣree points. Certainly, Alvarez was full of praise for his teammate on afte♑r the game…

Hammers will hope brighter times lie ahead for January signing

West Ham h🦹ave the option to sign Phillips for £40 million this summer. So far, you would have to say that he has got some work to do to 🌜convince the ♋Hammers to spend that money.

Obviously, he is off to a disappointing start. But in hindsight💎, it was always going to take some time for Phillips to get up to speed given how little he had𝔉 played for Manchester City.

He definitely has the talent to be a real asset to the Iron🌄s. And hopefully a few games where Phillips largely goes under the radar proves to be exactly what he needs before he really shows how good he can be for West Ham, potentially beyond this season.
