Ederson admits Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson is a step ahead of him
Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson has suggested Liverpool stopper Alisson is the best in the world.
The two Brazilians are frequently compared to one another as stars of the same national team and the best two sides in the Premier League.

There is very little to seperate them but, perhaps rather humbly, Ederson reckons his pal and rival has the upper hand.
After both being nominated for FIFA’s The Best Goalkeeper award along with Marc-Andre ter Stegen of Barcelona, he said (): “I think the three of us were the best, but I see Alisson one step ahead.
“He was great in the Premier League, won the Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup and had a great Copa America as well.

“So I think whoever wins will be deserving and I’m happy for two Brazilian goalkeepers to reach this level.”
The award will be decided on September 23, with Alisson the favourite to scoop the gong over his international teammate.
TBR’s view
Alisson had an amazing first season in the Premier League, winning the Golden Glove with 21 clean sheets.
He was protected by an amazing defence, but he still played a huge part as the Reds ran Manchester City to within a point of the title.

His contributions in the Champions League were immense, which may be what swings it for him at the upcoming Best awards.
Some prefer Ederson, but Liverpool fans will absolutely love the 26-year-old’s admission.
